More specifically, the RAM works perfectly fine, and I can even run memtest86 and it'll pass on every run. But as soon as I utilize sleep, memory goes apeshit. If I let it sleep for too long, it sits there and does nothing when I wake it up. If I time it perfectly, I can get things that you would expect out of a danooct1 virus video where malware messes with system files. What I assume is happening is the RAM isn't being powered properly while in sleep mode, and obviously memory decays when power isn't applied, so... Also looking at the motherboard, the caps need to be replaced. Oh well, it'll be done eventually. We don't have a desoldering gun so I unfortunately can't recap the Pentium III motherboard either. It seems that I also struggle to record CRTs with this camcorder. The NVIDIA control panel isn't on this system, so I can't dial the CRT to be exactly 59.94, which is what I record in. I had to set the CRT to 100Hz and apply massive amounts of deflicker in DaVinci Resolve so it'll be watchable enough and not be a massive headache to look at. I even have other takes, but they're ruined due to this exact issue.
